Ba Bum, Ba Bum, Ba Bum

Today was my second pre-natal appt. And again, this doctor is just so great. It's like he's a friend already. We really really like him. When the doc first came into the room, he had a student with him, and right away they wanted to hear the heartbeat. So the student gave a shot at trying to find the baby's heartbeat. After a few minutes of trying, the student was unsuccesful, because he could only find my beat. So, the doc gave it a try. A few seconds later, it was like a HUGE difference in pace of the heartbeat. And then we knew that was our baby's hearbeat. It was so much faster than mine (as it should be), and it was just plain cool!!! I am still all giddy and excited about it, and STILL in disbelief that we have been so blessed! All of the blood work they did last time, looked normal, my blood type is good, and anyway, we're pretty lucky. Looking forward to another month or so to when we can find out what we're having!!
