Happy, Happy Birthday Gavin!

We took him to the zoo!



Gavin and the little elephant share a birthday! She turned 3 this year though.

The new "Rocky Shores" was pretty neat!

This big guy is blind, and has found his place by the glass right there, going in circles.

Gavin wasn't real smiley for the camera that day, but he had a good time.

 There was a big fan that would blow mist, and Gav would make this face everytime it hit him. It was funny! He liked it. Cooled us all off!

Stopped for some lunch.

Just about to leave the zoo. We had such a good time celebrating Gavin at the zoo!

 We were about to cross the street to get to our car {yes, it was so crowded that day that there was not a spot in the parking lot}, and then it started pouring rain! Thunder and lightning started going too. Luckily we were leaving, and not just arriving.

When we got home... It was time for PRESENTS!

Of course the big hits were the ones that made music, had buttons, and lit up. His favorite things all in one.

He started to cry when Spencer was taking it out of the box, because he thought it was getting taken away... Haha

Then he took a nap, we ate dinner {Which is why his face is messy before he had cake}, and then it was time for cake and ice cream!

At first, he didn't even taste it! He just smushed it in his hands.

Then he decided there was one piece that looked good, so he tried it...

And the rest is history...

My goodness I cannot believe he is 1. Year. Old! We had such a great day celebrating our little buddy with just the 3 of us. We sure love him a whole dang lot, and have so much fun with him!!
